James Booth of Northfarnham parish in this County being this day brought before this Court for the Killing of John Lee. It appearing to the Court by the Verdict of the Coroners Inquest that the Misfortune happened by the said James Booths fireing of a Gunn Charged with powder and wadd Not knowing that the said John Lee was near him. It is therefore Ordered the said James Booth be Discharged.

Mary Livack the wife of Thomas Livack according to her Recognizance this day Appearing to Answer the Complaint of her said Husband, for threatening to Shoot him, But offering Nothing Matteriall to Excuse her selfe; It is therefore Ordered that she give good and Sufficient Security for her good Behaviour During the Terme of one Year.December 1731Whereupon the said Mary Livack together with William Walker her Security in Open court Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto our Sovereign Lord the King his heirs and Successors in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling to be levyed on their lands and Tenements goods and Chattles with Condition that if the said Mary Livack shall be of good Behaviour as well towards his Majestie as all his Leige people. That then this Recognizance to be Void and of none Effect, or Else to Remain in full force and Vertue.
Whereas Mary Long and Susanah Long her daughter made Oath before Thomas Wright Belfield, Gentleman one of the Justices of this Court that they were afraid John Andras would beat would maim or kill them, and therefore prayed Surety of the peace against him, And the said John Andras failing to give Security for his Appearance at this Court to Answer the same, he was there upon Committed to the Goale of this County by the said Thomas Wright Belfield, and being now brought before this Court, on Examination of Severall Evidences against him. It appears to this Court that the said John Andras not only threatened to do Some bodily Hurt to the said Mary and Susanah Long, but that he diverse times endeavoured to abuse the said Susanah Long. It is therefore Ordered that for the said Offences the Sheriff take him and Carry him to the Common Whipping post and give Thirty Nine lashes on his bare back well laid On, and also that he Give good and Sufficient Security for his good Behaviour during the Term of one year, And that he remain in the Sheriffs Custody untill he Gives Such Security.

Margaret Thomas, the late wife of Moses Thomas of North Farnham parish in this County, being this day Brought Before this Court for the killing of her said Husband, it appearing to the Court by the Verdict of the Coroners Inquest that the Misfortune Happened by the said Margaret Thomas's Casting a certain Firelock out of the House of the said Moses Thomas which was Charged with Powder and Drop Shot was thereby fired and discharged as it fell on the ground and did Casually, and by accident, kill the said Moses Thomas.
