George William Fairfax Received His Yearly Commission as County Lieutenant of Fairfax County

August 15, 1758

George William Fairfax Esqr. presented a Commission from his honor the Governor appointing him Lieutenant Colonel of the Militia of this County pursuant to which he took the oaths according to Law repeated & subscribed the tests
